My TV just went 'POP'

I am not a happy man,
Was watching my TV last nite and there was a loud bang. Yep u guessed it my TV is no more. I have changed the fuse, changed the cable but nothing.
The TV is an LG - LCD, HDTV, 37", model RZ-37LZ55.
I have only had it 8 months, so phoned the company I bought it from (high street retailer). They said phone LG which I did, who are collecting it tomorrow and said it will be gone between 10 - 15 days.
Aghhhhhhhhhhh not happy, no Xbox 360 and have now resorted to a 14" portable TV.
What is a man to do.

read the manual and see if there are any internal fuses that you can change

they should have a swap out policy surely... i.e. they leave you with a screen while they fix yours?

LG suck for repair customer service.

At least their optical drive service do. 6-8 weeks to turn a faulty drive around and no apology for the time taken.
Replacement was a unit 3 months older than the one I sent back.
This with me ringing twice a week (or more) after the quoted 10 - 15 day repair period... :mad:

Didn't the OP say something about 10 - 15 days...

I bloomin well hope it does not take 6-8 weeks or I will not be happy.
It doesnt help either when the courier who collected the TV says "oh what a surprise its an LG I am picking up for a repair" that fills me with great confidence NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :mad:
