My User Account has reset on XP???

Hi there

Last night my computer was working fine, no problems. Come to log on this morning and my User Account seems to of reset itself I have nothing on it anymore, it's the same as when you make a new account.

Any idea what has gone wrong and how i can fix it?

Go to documents & settings and copy the stuff from your old account into the new account.

It hasn't made a new account, it's just kinda reset it But i'll go have a try now

Last time that happened to me it had created a new temp acount ComputerName.AccountName so i just copied everything over and deleted the old one.

Yeah, thats actually what it has done. Created a temp account At least it's a good chance to go through and get rid of what i don't need

Will i have to add everything back onto my iPod and install programs again?

Just copy all the documents and user settings and everything. Then rename the old account to something else and rename the temp account to what the old one was called and everything should work fine.
