My VAIO needs bass!

My new laptop doesn't allow me to change the bass and treble settings and I'm getting sick of the tinny sound....I want BASS!!!!

I use a good pair of headphones that have blown my ears off with bass in the past, so that's not the problem.

Anyone know any software?

what model is it? Sony seem to have a habit of putting really naff speakers in their units unfortunately, you can alter the equalizer but your limited by the pokey crap they stick in there.

edit just saw your model in your sig, these have rubbish speakers in them so you'll have to get some externals.

Pretty poor for music, ok for general use but they don't have any type of speaker enclosure to give any real bass.

No laptop has decent bass, even the ones with the little built in subwoofers.

My old dell i9200 was pretty good. Tried a studio 15. But that sounded worse than my iPhone speaker. I'm just looking for a replacement for the 9200 for general use
