my warranty, where do I stand ?

So I got a 37in LCD Samsung from a large retailer about 7 months ago

just noticed a dead pixel towards the centre of the screen - what's samsungs policy? I cant see anything on their website?

I know it has 12 months 'warranty' but what does this cover?

I think 2 dead, or lazy, pixels per million is considered acceptable. If you only have one, then there's probably not much you can do.

Is it dead? as in black or is its blue, red or green?

You might be able to fix it, lots of stuff on the net about this.
