All,

I build this back in January and following some more tweaks, thought I'd finally share it with fellow overclockers.

I'd take it to LAN events, but its just too damn heavy now;)

All in all I reckon I've put in well over 24hours build time in to this. i just wanted it to be perfect, ensuring that every fan / light is controllable and most cables are tidy!!!

I know we all have different tastes, but your feedback would be more than welcome!

Cheers for everyone's comments. Yes its the Armour case and a damn fine purchase it was. Initially I thought it was too big, but once u cram all the water cooling stuff in etc, it soon fills up.

My plan is maybe later in the year to either replace the water cooling with a higher spec or just try to custom fit a larger rad. I added A thermaltake rad which sits in a 5.25 bay and helps keep both grfx cards cool, but you can never have enough cooling eh!!

My only regret is the Thermaltake PSU which is a little noisy!

MAte i like the idea of having the lights at the front behind the Armour Guards. :D

Ive had the Armour 1year now and have modded everythin on it, PA160 cut in roof and 120.2 at front. Never thought of the lights at front either.

Was gona get a new case but time to get stuck back modding this one i think.

Dunno if you find those front flaps a little loose on yours? I took mine out and wrapped one layer of black insulating tape around the metal lugs so now they're almost stiff to open... stops them flapping around!!

Any chance u could post some pics of yours as it would be cool to see other ideas :D

Looks to be a very neat job there - the colours aren't good (in my opinion) as you've got too many, so it looks a little like you couldn't source enough of the same :)

But that's taste, and mine differs from yours ;)

My other PC (which my fiancee now has) was pretty much all blue and I wanted something that would stand out more. One of the great things about this build is that I can turn lighting off etc, so it looks great when running just under UV. But yeah you're right, we all have different tastes which is what makes everyone's PC look so cool. Otherwise we'd all have Dells :(

In all honesty, the pictures just don't do it justice. With the DFI offering UV reactive yellows and oranges on the MB, it kinda all flows really well together.

But hey I'm biased

I'm a little stuck with the green cooling pipes as thats all Thermaltake offer... hence eventually looking at something else. I quite fancy some Aquacomputer gear, but i've spec'd that up to £400 and what with getting married next year, thats gotta wait a while!!

Do you have any pics of yours? Would be cool to see.

Ahh, no thats just where the camera fails to show the lighting in its true colour. Its a lot sharper in person;)

However, I think I may have the blue cathodes on for that pic. I'll try and sort another with them off to see if it makes a difference :p
