My website, small problem

Everything working ok, but my main problem is the home page doesn't display correctly in Firefox. All other pages are fine...

All pages display correctly in IE. Can anyone spot my error?

Also, any other comments appreciated.

Ok, done that and it basically sets everything to the far left of the screen...do I need to center everything that hasn't been set now?

Why would FF display all pages except index correctly?

I've managed to fix the wierd alignment issues by getting rid of the text input box and replacing it with the div, as suggested and used the overflow. (Is the implementation correct?)

However, trying to use the global values in the css and then adjusting the individual items to fit, isn't going that well...the elements don't seem to shift where I want them to go. I'm not sure what it is I'm doing wrong, but I'll give it another go later.

Oh, and somewhere along the line, the footer at the bottom of each page is distorting (getting taller/smaller/moving up the page etc) - but again only in FF.

edit: just to clarify, the footer moves up the page (doesn't stay at the bottom) in FF, and changes size (but stays at the bottom) in IE.
