My windows 8 experience... Sick of it..

Ok my i7 rig. W8 installed. Crashes and bsods all the time.
Afyer the crash it would get stuck in the black screen loop and attempt a repair and then the black screen again so I reinstall.
Then the app store breaks and is riddled with errors.
Ok I thought. Maybe the PC so I get a new mobo and cpu Haswell.
The install keeps failing and I eventually get it installed.
Now today I turn it on. Put the password in to login at its hangs on that screen. I have to reset and back comes the black screen.
I can't repair I can't use the boot media I can use any of the options.
What a complete joke.
Back to w7 for me after this I've spent days trying to sort this crap out. W8 is shocking.

So lets look at my history, on Win7 I had similar issue like this,did I blame the OS?...No I did not,in my case I did a memory test and it turned out to be fautly ram which I replaced.

I do wish users would do some real troubleshooting(detective work) rather then blame the OS,do you think Microsoft would release any OS in this state ?..Obviously not so that should tell you something but still users like to blame the OS regardless.

Also my Win7 started to have other issues after ( about a year later) did I blame the OS then?....No I did not it since was the HD(Samsung HD went faulty and I did some calm troubleshooting) ,yes I've some bad luck but end of the day I never blame the OS.

I'll finish this post by saying Win8.1 is rock stable on my latest two rigs,now I hope you have learned something from your premature first post.

I unplugged the second ssd. First one was faulty. And now it looks like a second bad ssd. What are the chances of that. I have already rmaed one.
I never had this trouble with a mechanical drive
 
You could just be unlucky, but are you reusing cables? Particularly if they're old and you do a lot of chopping and changing the cables themselves could be worn.

Damn microsoft and windows 8 for selling you a bad SSD.

Oh wait.

First rule of PC troubleshooting. Remove all hardware until the problem goes away. If that doesn't work, swap out components where possible until the problem goes away.
 
PICNIC, as usual when someone magically has severe problems with something thousands of other people are using fine.
 
2 faulty SSDs in a row? Either you are very unlucky or it is another issue. What Power Supply are you using? Also check the SATA cables and run a memtest.

I also doubt very much that Windows 8 is to blame here.
 
corsair 750w .all cables are fine. everything points to the ssds as again after the latest reinstall i had lag, the pc wouldnt power down after being shutdown.
i have installed w7 on the same machine, but not using any ssd's and it is running fine now.
I might just clone this w7 to the new ssd , but to be honest i have been put of w8 and ssd's after all this.
yes it may have been bad luck, but microsoft software doesnt help when i cant do a refresh or troubleshoot or enter safe mode.
if it is the ssd's one day i may try 8 again but i just want a system that works and 7 does that.
 
Unfortunately software can't run on bad hardware it's as simple as that and it's quite obvious you've got some sort of pretty severe hardware issue going on here it's got nothing to do with Windows 8.
If Windows 7 runs fine on exactly the same hardware then it's obviously a bit more forgiving than Windows 8 but that doesn't solve the underlying issue.

It doesn't, OP says he's installed win7 on the mechanical HDD.

OP, did you try installing win8 on the mechanical HDD?
