Hi all
When i first got my Asus X800XT-PE AGP, i was able to clock it right up to 590/590 on air. But about a month ago something changed and i got this picture:

Now some of you would say thats broken memory. But after i had restarted and set it back to stock, it was fine. I hadnt overclocked it since.
About 2 mins ago i thought i'd give it a go again. I left the 3d image on ati tool spinning for a while, and my card peaked at about 77C. I moved the slider up 5mhz on the core and off it went.. screen turns multicolour like the image above.
I mean.. 5mhz wont make hardly any difference would it? It's as if as soon as my cards bios clocks are altered slightly it freaks and destroys itself.
When i put it back to bios defaults its fine again
Another thing.. when i overclocked it a while back, and i got the borked image, i restarted and the picture was fine, until ATi tool loaded up and it went off again.
So all i wanna know is why does my card do this? And what have i changed since i got the high clocks out of it last year?
Also how could i get around this and still be able to overclock a bit more?
Thanks
