I can't get the GPU's to go above 1050MHz (Core clock)

Am I doing something wrong?

I've tried leaving the voltage alone and raising it by38mV (cards are sync'd in the OC tool).

I've tried using Zotac's provided Firestorm tool and the EVGA Precision X tool and no luck :-(

Do I just have duff GPUs that do what they say on the tin and nothing more (well apart from a respectable memory OC)?

I just got my 780 lightning - and already want to SLI it :D

Not that it needs SLIing!

Was going to set up a mining rig, worked out cost, then realised I would rather spend that money on another 780... but probably won't. yet.

Enjoy your cards :D

As for overclocking, which drivers are you using?

And what do they boost to?

I'm using 331.82 WHQL, Win 7 x64 Home Premium
The cards seem to boost 1103MHz according to the GPU-Z screenshot but I'm pretty sure the GPU-Z logs show it boosting to 1200MHz with a core clock of 1050MHz

Get something like a G19 keyboard with an LCD and you can see exactly what speed your cards are running at......;)

Like in this picture you can see that my two cards were boosting at 1239mhz & 1238mhz when I took the picture..

Hmmm...

It says here http://hexus.net/tech/reviews/graphics/59857-zotac-geforce-gtx-780-amp-edition-updated/ that on these rev 2 Zotac AMP cards that the default clocks are 1006MHz and the actual boost is during Far Cry 3 was 1163MHz...

I noted a boost figure of 1200MHz in the GPUZ log files when I had the core clocked at 1050MHz.

Should I still expect to be able to push the core more than 1050 with a 1200MHz boost? These cards are water cooled...

Is the fact that I am running a SLI setup as opposed to a single card causing this issue?
