Sounds fantastic with the new can :D

Have some short black levers and a seat cowl to be painted and she'll be finished

love the z, lovely handling on them and easy to ride, engine is very docile though with no top end rush... but after passing DAS thats prolly a good thing I guess. Give it a year and you'll want to 1000 :)

Yeah, it's surprisingly torquey. You can be quite lazy with the gears and it seems to just pull anywhere. Handling is a little bouncey on the 750 because they use cheaper suspension components apparently. I'm not experienced enough to be pushing it to the point that it matters very much yet. Not sure how it compares to the thou.

I very much like the new shape z1000 but I think once I'm competent on this in a year or two I'll be gunning for a Streetfighter S :D Might test ride a couple of sports bikes but I think they're just going to be a bit uncomfortable.

Lovely looking bike, not sure why, but I'm really liking the naked bikes more and more now, sat on the new GSR750 on Saturday... lovely looking bike :)

Who knows... bye bye GSXR750, hello nekkid? :D

Piccies don't seem to work :(

My first bike was an 07 z750. Fab bike.

Top end can be put back with a fairly straight through can and a power commander.

Suspension can be made much better in about 10 minutes. Just set the springs to 14mm sag at the back and 30mm at the front. then wind the dampers all the way in, then back out again counting the turns. Then wind them back in 1/2 way.

Much easier than it sounds and lots of guides on the net. I think theres a superbike magazine one on youtube done with a z1000. bikes more composed when riding fast and more comfortable when touring, 2 up or just over pot holes. I'm about 12 stone btw.
