Hey

i have set up vista to backup my files everyday , it did the first backup but then tonight the first time on automation it came up with error 0x8004230f.. any help would be greatly appreciated

Seems quite a lto fo people have had this error. One person simply rebooted their PC (rather than using the sleep/hybernate mode) and this fixed it. Others simply recommend using a decent program like Acronis.
