this was the best bit of software if you had a SONY Ericsson... and now its out for many android phones! worth using this for mass editing, texting from your PC and many more. You can also take screen shots!

You need the free client from the market and the 1.8 download.

its sweet, i connect when im at work (over wifi so no cable needed) and can then dock my phone and just use the pc to do my tasks. looks more professional too than sat on your mobile all day :D

Works well, uses the Android Developer Bridge to get the screenshots.

For Desire users, install HTC Sync on your PC otherwise the ADB drivers won't install.

how do you take the the screen shots?

Extras, load screen shot. Anyone having problems using the file explorer or accessing contacts? Mine refuses to and keeps saying 'obex could not be initialised' - using it through USB.

i gave up via usb. no need just turn wifi on much easier

I tried but it wouldn't work. I presume it needs to connect through a router instead of directly? My work laptop connects to (the work) WiFi but my phone won't.

yeah i connect my wifi on my phone to the router and the laptop is on the same router and that works. connecting via the laptop did not work for me.

My desktop doesn't have wireless, I thought it might connect through the router..

As soon as I plugged in a wireless usb stick in my desktop, it found it right away

yeah my desktop is hardwired too. as long as its on the same network.
