Was just wondering about this website I'd been pointed in the direction of. Essentially this will just let you do your shopping via the website, then when you're done you can see the total cost for numerous different supermarkets and decide who to shop with based on that? Is that it?

some of the literature confused me, suggesting somehow there were further savings to be had?

So anybody have a clue about whether the benefit is just shopping at the cheaper store or there is somehow savings above that?

click on vouchers at the bottom for £10 off your first order from tesco/sainsburys

you can collect clubcard points from tesco = more money off when they turn into vouchers.

you can also easily see what the cheapest option is.

also click on swap and save to see cheaper alternatives.

its worth doing your shopping online the £4 for delivery will easily be saved in time and money.

Thanks mate, just started shopping online but stuck with tescos for the points and all that jazz. Was just pretty confused as they seemed to be suggesting further savings like there could have been some price matching thing going on or something.

do your first order with tesco and use the £10 off, do your 2nd order with sainsburys and use the £10 off.

then from then on choose whoever is cheapest (usually tesco).

the other supermarket the 4th one is really expensive, but they do have a £15 off voucher, so you could do your 3rd shop with them, but it will most likely actually cost more even with the voucher (thats how expensive they are).

anyway your guaranteed £10 off your first 2 shops this way.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, I use that site quite a bit just for making a shopping list really but it often says you can "save" money by buying say "2 for £6" where as on its own it is £4each.. its not really saving you money, if anything its costing you money especially on perishables like milk (where you dont use more than 4 pints within the use by day, so the extra 4 pints would be infact wasted) so just be careful of that.
