Myth Of Soma - Games Network game

Hi guys.

I used to play this game a long time ago and just wondered if anyone remembers it or still plays similiar games to it?

If i remember rightly it was run by GN Online who also ran a game called legened of Mir.
 
Yep, I played on the official server from 2003 till about 2005/6 and then the odd private server for a while afterwards. It was my first online game and the reason why I bought my first PC after seeing it played on the Game Network tv channel; I spent far too much of my life on that game. I also played Legend of Mir 3 and Droiyan online by the same company, good times.
 
Same as Dan basically, I watched Game Network and spent the next year or so devoted to legend of mir and myth of soma, played a few private servers too but not for long. I miss games like it, the PK system was a gem and no other game has come close since.
 
I played Legend Of Mir through beta and then when it went live. That was the first MMORPG I ever played. What an awesome game.

I never really got on with Myth of Soma, not really sure why.

I didn't think GN ran these games I think they were just affiliated in some way.
 
legend of mir my first mmorpg i played was on Phoenix server used to use old name THEBLOOD.

good old days i still pop onto the priv servers every now and then.
 
Just managed to log onto my forum account and chuffed to see other players of the games that prity much got me into online gaming! :D

I deffently agree with the PK system should be standard throughout todays MMO's and deffently aspects of the levelling system too!

Had some great times on Myth of soma, and its a shame it ended the way it did :(
