Myth TV - Easy Setup?

Hi there,

I am having a little venture into another HTPC for a friend and I was wondering if this this easy to setup as costs have to be cut as much as possible.

Also will a Althlon 1GHZ 512MB RAM be good enough to run it?

I *think* KnoppMyth is meant to be the easiest way to get a MythTV install up and running.

At least if Kevin Rose wasn't lieing to me

I have had a look through that site, but I am completly new to Linux and was wondering whether I could run it on that PC. I have no idea about front and back ends :|

are you just wanting play back or PVR? nvidia cards are great in mythTV setup's.
