Hi all,

Can anyone who has used Mytyres give me an indication of the average length of time between ordering and delivery?

It varies between 1 week and not receiving your order at all.

I'm not sure how you work out an average between those two factors.

All my orders have been delivered within 10 working days.

About a week when I've used them.

The trouble I find now though is that a number of garages locally are refusing to fit customer supplied tyres. Health and safety issues, the guy at Kwik Fit said, he got quite offended when I burst out laughing

Fitting not an issue, local place will fit them for free if I buy two tyres from him.

never bought from them, I usually get a price from them ( or other web place ) and have no problem getting local place to match the prices

Same with me. They are my last resort as they are the only place in the known universe with the tyre I want.

Ive used them 2 or 3 times and had no problems at all. The ones I ordered stated 1 week and that was right.

We just bought 6 x Toyo Proxies 215/40/17 for £65 each and they were delivered the following day as promised.

1 week + eternity/ 2 = half of eternity + 3.5 days

I usually get mine within a week.

Ordered 2 sets of 4 quite recently. Absolutely no problems with delivery. Got them sent to work, and they showed up in perfect nick within a few days.

I've used them quite a few times, usually around a week, once took two weeks.

2 Eagle F1 GS-D3's in 265/35/18. Camskill dont have any, they just like to advertise products they dont sell :rolleyes:

Also heard a good one when asking Audi Main dealer to fit tyres to my TT:

"Sorry Sir, but the tyre equipment belongs to Kwik Fit so we are only allowed to use their tyres."

Sounds like they are short of a few quid if they can't kit out their own workshop!

yeh, kwik fit said they couldnt put a spare F1 tyre I had on to my spare hub due to legal issues :confused:

Local garage did it for free in a few mins...

took 4 weeks for mytyres to send me two 17inch F1 GSD3's

no contact at all for two weeks, then a response to my emails to say that they'd had stock trouble and would post them out "soon"

I prefer E-tyres myself - plus they come and fit them next day, which is nice
