N00B HERE! HELP

Hi,

Basically am here to find out which is best for me!
I am new to PC's and am building a computer for Christmas. Solely for gaming,
Games like Day Z, Minecraft, Arma 3?

I would like help on a custom build. Not clued up on what specs I need!
I heard if you can create a computer to play Battlefield 4 I'll be fine with pretty much anything?

Can anybody help by mocking up a custom build that will be sufficient for what I like to do

Yes I have basics for now. I use my battered old laptop hooked to my telly but I dont even attempt to game on it! I have got mouse, keyboard (wireless) and a screen. No speaker but will be sorted, Operating system not that I know of? No old PC parts only had laptops and not gaming ones just family use.

I do not have a 1080p but it would be something I'd be working towards. like I can make do until I have more money?

Both specs include an OS.

You will have to build it yourself, but there are plenty of guides on youtube showing how.
