Spent all day with the camera yesterday; basically just driving around the countryside snapping anything that looked interesting
I have a few problems though;
Primarily; Im struggling with exporting shots from lightroom -> jpg. I realise jpg is a lossy compression; but I seem to loose a lot of details in the darker areas; is there anything I can do about this? It looks great in lightroom, but as soon as its exported; looks pants.
My 2nd query; are there any 'rules' regarding aspect ratios etc? a lot of the shots i've taken today look good in a widescreen(ish) aspect; but obviously this is definately not a standard photo size/aspect.
