I've got iTunes installed (and logged in with the same account) on two PCs at home. I've idly browsed and downloaded iPhone apps on both.

If I want ALL of those apps synced to my iPhone will I have to either copy the apps onto one iTunes installation or plug my iPhone into both PCs?

I'm assuming that the apps don't sync via iTunes and this is normal behaviour?

Cheers!

If you have two PCs logging into the iTunes store using the same account, they can both download any apps bought on either computer and you'll only be charged once. In fact I think you can configure iTunes so that anything bought using that account will be automatically downloaded on the other. There's certainly no need to copy anything manually between the two.

Hmm there definitely doesn't seem to be any synchronisation (app-wise) between the two PCs (and i'm definitely logged in with the same account!)

I've imported them using Home Sharing, but this isn't really ideal as it's a manual process.

It all seems a bit... broken/weird!

iTunes, preferences, Store Preferences.

I've highlighted where your account name should be and then you can tick the boxes below to automatically download. I don't sync apps.

I checked those options were selected already - hasn't made a difference. It doesn't even acknowledge that i've already downloaded an app if I choose it again in the Appstore.

Annoying!

That change only applies to NEW apps. Essentially any app you install after you apply that setting will sync to both machines.

Click your iTunes account and go to your "purchased" items. Then re-download them to each machine. From then on, you're golden.
