n00b Ps3/Sky+ question

Hi, i have just ordered a nice 60 gig PS3 package which is due to arrive this week. This will be connected to a Sharp 52" LCD HDTV (LC52XD1E).
I also have Sky+ and i was wondering if there was any way in which the Sky+ could be connected 'through' the PS3 to utilise it's upscaling capabilities?
Any advice or am i barking up the wrong tree here?

Wrong tree. There are no video inputs on the PS3.

I don't think this is possible.
The PS3 only has a video out and no video in (apart from usb) so it would be very unlikely.
 
Well i dont think it will do, but it could be possible when the PVR thing comes out in the new year for the PS3, it will have video inputs so maybe with some software jiggery pokery it may some how be able to. Like I said though i doubt it ever will, be cool if it could though.
 
Ah well. Not to worry, thanks for the quick replies. Looks like i'll be going down the SKY Hd route.
