n00b question - SM Bus Controller driver not installed?

I noticed this in the device manager today when I was updating monitor drivers (my bloody dell color profile wont work properly again!), dont think I've seen it there before:

Basically, what is the SM Bus controller driver and does it need to be installed urgently? I told windows to update it but it couldnt find anything, and seeing as I dont know what SM Bus Controller I have I cant go to their website myself to get the driver.. any help?

System Management Bus.

I had it on my AMD/AGP rigs also and it installs with the Chipset Drivers.

hmm it says the installer installs the drivers for windows, but Vista isnt listed. Maybe its been there all the time and I havent noticed it before?!

try reinstalling your chipset drivers.
