After a recent reinstall of XP

My text seems funny not as smooth and bold as before and i cant for
the life of me find out where to change it

Please help my text looks poo

Sounds like cleartype isn't turned on perhaps. Display properties.. appearance.. effects.. tick box 2nd from top and select cleartype from dropdown menu.

maybes in my computer > right click > properties > forgot which tab> performance > text smooth
