n00b question

so i ahve a paid of headphones which i use with my PC,

when ever i play a game or, move the mouse, i get a weird noise.

is this normal, is there a way to eridicate it?

your picking up interference from the electrical activity within the PC. All internal sound cards are going to have this issue to some extent how bad it is depends on how much thought was placed into the design of the board.

there is also a remote chance that your mouse and sound card share the same irq. maybe moving the sound card to another pci slot might give you an improvement.

if you have onboard sound then theres not much you can do other than put up with it
