N100 Boards

Hmm. That looks interesting. You could use it run a web server and database on the local network for testing before you deploy to production without messing with your main machine. You could do the same with the Pi but the differences between x86_64 and AArch64 distros makes it hard to compare the two. Being able to run the exact same distro on both is really important.

I've been thinking of putting together a small desktop computer for playing retrogames mainly from GOG and indies from Steam...
Started pricing up a Pi5 with all the trimmings but then started looking at N100s based boards.

The main advantage that the Pi still has is that after market support both from the manufactures who won't just abandoned it when they release something new and the 3rd parties.. the number of cases and hats...

If this board came in a pre-built unit or package with all the required trimmings, I would certainly look into getting it.

Personally i'd rather pay the extra for a Arock/Asus N100 Board.

I think most are missing the point of this one - it still has a Pi compatible GPIO header, so can be used for the type of projects that a Pi is actually the right tool for.
