n566u reset ?

ok i have an asus n56u router i use it wired and not wireless its through my virgin media superhub ( which is in modem mode )....and i need to reset the n56u back to as it was out of the box ....because the mrs setup a password and has now forgotten it ..can anyone help please as im not totally sure on how to do this, had a google about it but seems that different people are saying different things...or...do i just press and hold.....Reset. ?


and also will i need to re-update the firmware as i did when we got the router quite some time ago ?...if so would the firmware be something like ......RT-N656U_3.0.0.4_360.trx ?

Should just be pressing the reset button on the back for 5+ seconds, it'll reset it to factory settings.

I'd assume they have a base firmware so you'll need to reupdate that.

Factory settings are :
User Name
: admin
Password
: admin
