n70 + satnav? route66

Hi.

Is the only software available to buy the route66 version 7, its like £89 inc del (125euros)?

Is this software any good? seems to be the only one compatible with the n70

I cant find the tomtom mobile software anywhere on the net to purchase?

I just want the software as i have a bt-77 gps reciever and 512mb card.

you can buy tom tom from loads of places so you obviously aren't looking very hard, in fact don't they sell it from there own site also?

im just after the software not the actual tomtom package with gps module etc.

tomtoms website seems to only sell the package which is like 299euros which isnt what i want as i have the gps unit and memory card.

I've not tried Route 66 myself as I use TomTom. It seems a bit daft to me that they don't sell it as a standalone software package.

My mate has the route66 software on his p910i and although ive never used it myself it seems to work just as well as the tomtom software really

TomTom is far better than route66 in my opinion.
Much easier to use.

TomTom are supposed to be selling the Mobile version in its own at some point. It's just a matter of when.
