u may be able to sort it out your self (although at your own risk):
it may just be that the firmware on the phone needs updating, and nokia recently released a way to update the firmware your self at home!
all you need is: the phone, a PC, and the nokia data cable (CA-53)
NOTE: before you do this, you need to make a backup of your phone, as it will erase EVERYTHING from your phone!
Have a look below for my instructions or have a look on the nokia site: hxxp://www.nokia.co.uk/A4254291
Backup Phone memory:
1) Put a blank memory card in the phone (or one with at least 40MB free)
2) Open up "memory" on the phone (usually: Main menu-->Tools-->Memory)
3) select option and choose "Backup Phone Memory"
4) this will take a short while.
5) Close this and do the firmware update as describer below
6) AFTER the firmware update, just go back to "Memory" and in options choose: "Restore from card"
Firmware update:
1) Put the phone on charge close to your PC
2) Download and install the latest Nokia "
Phone Software Updater"
3) install the data cable drivers if you have not already
4) connect the N73 to the computer using the CA-53 data cable, and leave the charger connected
5) run the Nokia "phone software updater" and follow the instructions.
6) Once done, do step 6 of the "Backup Phone memory" instructions
That's it, you are done!
hopefully this should solve the problems you have, if not, contact o2, as it's most likely a hardware fault.
All the best,
Lad.
