n80 any good for browsing?

is the n80 useable as a quick browser? nothing serious just a quick check of emails or news etc?

also how robust is the slider? does it have a loose or firm action?

Yup.

Its fine for the job. The ultra high res screen coupled with the new S60 browser gives fantastic results. For emails you can just set it up in messaging anyways( assuming it supports pop3, imap, etc)

3G + WiFi + high res screen + great web-browser makes it one of the best phones on the market for web browsing in my opinion.

Yes it will and so will the keyboard but it looks fugly.

I chose the E70 over the N80 just for the keyboard and better battery life. Landscape mode helps but the web-browser does a good job in portrait mode too.
