N95 3G problem!

:( Hi guys

Just got a N95 off Orange...

Well t.v. worked perfect etc...until i took the sim card out and put in another phone, and swapped sims.

(Mums keepin sim for mins/texts....im having phone)

Now i know her sim is 3G compatible because it says "3G" in her W810i....

I popped it in my N95 and i try t.v. and nothing happens it says "Try when you connect to a 3G enabled area"..... ?

Did it change settings or something ? Please help. Now it is just in a "GSM" area. - GSM logo.

What can I do :( :mad: (Just paid £10 subscription to t.v. to test)

So your saying your using her old sim? Is that configured to do gsm or 3g/gsm? It sounds as if it's just gsm.

Yeah i just worked it out on msn for him, the w810i is a 2g phone so the sim they provided is obviously 2g only hence not working in the N95.

I find it wierd though as when i got my u600 on contract with o2 before i switched it, it isn't capable of 3g yet i was still given a 3g sim. Maybe it's just how orange do things.
