first wondering is is there a way to make the radio work without needing the headphones plugging in? i can get it to work with just the play/stop thing that you plug in before the headphones which means it uses the phones speakers but without anything plugged in it woont play. Any way to change this?

Also is there any better software the the maps that the phone comes with? im finding that to view the smaller roads i have to be zoomed in way too close which means that when in zoom in that close it's hard to find the road i want and take ages.

Any free software that changes the phone to silent between a certain time? i have seen paid for ones but none free which would be great.

Lastly is anyway to change it so wallpapers are full screen without it being a theme? and if not any way to make a theme that uses the nokia one the phone comes with but i can simple add the wallpaper i want?

think thats all for now, thanks

The Radio requires the earphones to act as an aerial, so unfortunately it requires the earphones.

imo the best mapping software is google maps or gmaps software which you can download - it gives you the option of microsoft maps, yahoo maps google maps etc which are really detailed and give you a satellite view option. Unfortunately this requires a network connection but if you are unlimited (like me) its no problem.

thanks for the reply, didn't realise the aerial was i there, exaplins a lot, thought it was just bad coding or something that makes it so people can't loud speaker the radio but when thats in it thinks headphones are in but really aren't

So is there no free maps to use that don't require net? the nokia one is ok, but i never use it now as you havwe to go just way too close before seeing the smaller roads and to find where i am when im lost is very hard.

Is there any free stopwatch applications out there or countdown timers?

Also with my old sammysung it had option to make phone alert every 1/2/5 mins if i had an unread text, is this possible as i loved that feature.

Lastly i did get the text voice thing and downloaded, but nothing seemed to ever happen with it, i can'tsee how i can get my texts read to me? is this like an application that needs to be running or something? i do have it speak the contacts name when someone is ringing me, is this part of the application or something else?
