Does anyone know if its the 8Gb model that they are currently supplying?

No its not the "Black 8 GB model" it the N95 (silver) with a 8GB card. The N95 8GB black is exclusive to Vodaphone until January.

Ah ok, are they the same phone then or does the Vodafone version have features the 02 one dosent?

Different phone, similar name.
The proper N95 8Gb has the 8Gb built in, no memory slot, bigger screen, brighter screen, optimised OS, better battery, etc;
