N96 killer ?

If thats right, i take it that means all the apps you can install on the N95/6 will be ok to install on this?
If I remember correctly, with previous non-Nokia S60 phones you couldn't install any apps actually made by Nokia (Maps, Internet Radio, Conversation, etc) for obvious reasons.

Whether this has changed now that Nokia has bought Symbian I don't know.

Edit:
I don't care much for the phone but I hope it's profitable enough for Samsung to continue their S60 range. Competition's always good and should keep Nokia on their toes.

Havent usued a samsung in years... have they caught up with other phones? Like are they omre advanced and feature packed? Last time i used them they had a very basic feel :(

Same here, the last Samsung phone i had was the E840 which felt very basic compared to SE.

This one should change it tho.

N96 for me. If the standard of the camera is anything like the one of the new 'Soul' it will be absolutely shocking!

I hope you're right.

Bought a N82 the day before this was announced. Will be mightily irritated if this turns out to be better

I use a Samsung D600 regularly and it is a solid, bullet proof phone. Very intuative menu's and still getting the full battery life almost 3 years on. I'd have no hesitation getting another Samsung...this one looks great!

Just want this/Omnia to get released now so i can read some reviews.

samsungs are pretty good. my d500 is built like a rock and my soul flew off stealth at thorpe park, went 30ft forward whilst being 30ft in the air, and managed to land under the track on the grass without a scratch!

Same here. My D600 has been that reliable its one of the reasons its taken me so long to upgrade. I've been out of contract for over a year.

Does look good but still going for a N96 though methinks, had 6 S60 nokias in a row now and they've all taken plenty of abuse without going wrong that and i've tried going other directions and always end up coming back to them. My N95 been dropped more times than I like to think about when out on the lash and nothings gone wrong with it, the only problem i've had is the silver printing on the camera and volume buttons is starting to rub away.
