Will the NAD D3020 - original version with USB input - be able to drive the Q Acoustics 3020 bookshelf speakers?

Does anyone know of any issues I might encounter with this pairing, or should it be straightforward plug and play once I add speaker cable and the necesseray source?

Thank you.

No reason for there to be an issue. For small bookshelf speakers, the QA 3020 aren't any more of a difficult load than average. The D3020 uses Class D switch mode amplification, so it can draw quite a lot of power from the mains without getting too phased. At 6 Ohms and 88dB sensitivity, the QA 3020 will work quite happily.

Were you expecting a specific problem?

Thank you very much.

No, i wasn't expecting a problem and I was hoping to be told as much.

Thanks again.

I picked up the D3020 and I have to say I love this thing. Right now I am using it with headphones, but in a couple of days when I pick up some speaker cable I'll add the QA 3020s. Thanks again for the help.

I think that combination will sound very nice. I have a pair of 3010 that I use with a Topping MX3 which uses a similar technology and the combination rocks my kitchen :)
