NAD Viso HP50 extended cable options

I have just purchased a pair of these closed ear headphones and I am investigating purchasing a 2-3m cable to suit them.

Does anyone have experience of this and suggestions for a cable brand and type that would provide good audio output (from a Xonar STX) ?

Ideally I would like a cable with a 1/4" jack adapter, but I do have a standard 3.5mm to 6.35mm adapter which could be OK.

I'd go with a KabelDirect 3.5mm cable and use an adapter to be honest. They are well made, use oxygen free copper and are cheap at £6.91 for 2m and £7.11 for 3m.

There are some 6.3mm cables out there but I couldn't find any info on materials used.
