Nagging concern over new build

What motherboard are you using?

Older models will not recognise 2TB+ HDD's and so this is probably the reason they aren't being detected. A BIOS update will usually sort this however.
 
It doesn't sound like an old motherboard with 2 native and 2 Marvell SATA 3 ports.

Is it the drives connected to the Marvell ports which aren't recognised?

Ensure these are enabled in the BIOS.

If you provide the make and model of the motherboard we'll have a better idea.
