Naive phone question.

Excuse my ignorance, but I've only owned one phone. I'm on Virgin mobile and have been so since I started the contract several years ago.

Current phone is getting a bit old in the tooth. If I buy an new unlocked phone (not from Virgin) can I simply take the sim out of my current contracted phone and pop it in and that's it, my contract will continue as before? Or is there more to it?

Yes you can. Seeing as you been with them a good few years you could get a better contract for less money too.

Contract is already down to £7pm with more texts then I'll ever need. They'd have to throw in free booze to make it much better.
