I tried the hard mats and hated them! They seemed to wear out the feet on my mouse really quick, plus they're all cold in the winter! lol

Using an ocz behemoth with my g5 mouse which ive found to be a nice mat.

Just got a Razer Destructor and Logitech G9 and gotta say they feel fantastic together.

If you are intent on using the Mamba at 5600dpi you'll want to avoid cloth pads and the destructor as it picks up the deformation of the surface as movement when you click.
