Name all 7900GTX > single slot cooled GPU's

I'm looking to upgrade my GPU power but dont want to splash out on a 8800 GTX. My motherboard cant support two dual slot cooled cards because the gap is to small.

would 7950 GT2 SLI work?

so i cant go 7900 GTX SLI, but i can go 7950 GT SLI but would that be a real upgrade?

sell your 7900gtx and get a single 8800, if there is an option to avoid sli, take it.

No i don't, single card solutions are a better overall choice, 8800gts/x would match/beat a 7950gt sli set-up anyway and is more future proof too.

It's funny how before the 8 series was released everyone was raving about SLI and now that it has been released we're being told that a single card is better lol.

My 8800 GTX is faster than my old 7900 GTX sli setup and without the hassle of sli profiles etc...

I had the 7900 GTX sli setup for a week,

Then got a GX2.

Then a 8800 GTX

I'd take a single card over SLi/Crossfire anyday and with the 8800GTX out now, there's really no excuse.
