well, recently got a new pc, and wanna get back into pc games
any good games out?
already have Bf2, crysis warhead, not sure what good games are out
into shooting, driving, action, anything really apart from sports:D
 
GTA 4 and Saints Row 2 are both great driving/shooting/mayhem games.
Flatout ultimate carnage
Empire: Total War
Call of Duty 4
Team Fortress 2 (get it with the orange box for the best deal)
 
GTA 4 with it fully patched is fine mate, you'll also see a lot of performance fixes too, it was awful at release but it's much, much better now :)

Trust me, I had a PC that could barely run it!!
 
Look into the back catalogue a bit. There are some excellent older games released in the last 7 or 8 years. IMHO a lot of newer games are derivative eye-candy-driven dumbed-down expensive low-content fodder for the masses.
 
Get Company of Heroes, Tales of Valor, the full package when it comes out.

Have a poke into the huge EVE online thread. Should find someone who'll be able to get in-game with you and talk you through it. Its actually pretty simple once you get used to the interface.
 
Download steam...... then await the weekend for a possible fantastic deal ! :D

hehe every weekend I now check steam to see if there are any bargins. They had bioshock for 2quid not too long ago. I also got world of goo for 3quid :D

Keep an eye on steam is my advice.

Also Orange box I guess good batch of games there, can be had quite cheap now adays
