Fairly stupid question coming up:

I'm looking at getting a steel rail for hanging pots and pans from in the kitchen. I believe the standard thing is to hang the pots from s hooks like this:

http://s7g3.scene7.com/is/image/ae235?$p$&layer=0&size=281,281&layer=1&size=281,281&src=ae235/60618_P

However I think it would be better to have the end of the hook that goes round the rail a complete circle (or nearly complete) so that they don't accidentally lift off when you are taking the pans down. I'd have to feed the hooks onto the rail rather than hooking them over but that would be ok.

Does anyone know the name of this kind of hook? I don't know the name so finding it hard to search for them!

Google Workshop Black S Design Metal Hanging Hook Hanger 5 Pcs - they're not really S ones, as they have the loop you so desire.

The standard S ones are actually fine to use as mavity helps them stay on the rail...I've not once had one fall down when removing an item.

Amazing thanks! You've pointed me in the right direction. That's just what I was looking for.

A search for 'sliding s hooks' or 'rail s hooks' produces more of the same kind of thing.

:D
