Name of software that opens in system tray and removes DVD decryption

Yes but they are back and called Red Fox now.

Stoner81.

Annoyingly my old "Lifetime Upgrades" I bought when they were SySoft is now not valid!!! So i'm stuck on the last version and Red Fox want more money for the new version! :(

Redfox gave an upgrade option when they bought out slysoft.

I had used dvdfab product, but understand they will not upgrade to newest blu-ray encryption technique so ultimately doomed, leaving market to redfox.

I have never really understood the somewhat clandestine basis these products exist, their blu-ray de-cryption capability was apparently because keys were leaked no? (plus legally, like music, original purchaser can legitimately make a copy for himself)
Will/has redfox decrypted 4K UHD blu-ray discs ?

You're thinking of 09 F9 I think: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AACS_encryption_key_controversy

Not the same as general DVD decrypting - that involves finding the key used to encrypt a given disk. DVDDecrypter can take from a second to a few minutes to find that key, in general.

Dunno about blu-ray, different kettle of fish I think. MakeMKV does a good job.
