Name some large companies around Bristol.....

I'm wanting to change jobs, and to get into a large company so that i can have some room for career development.

My current job is starting to bore me and is too small to really progress to anything different.

airbus is a huge company, been/worked at the bristol site quite a few times.

They laid of some of the I.T. staff some time back so I dunno how he'd do there. Plus you don't want to work for them anyway.

I know they did, but never any harm in following it up.

Not sure why you'd say you don't want to work for them though.... There are far worse companies to work for.

Thats new to me.
The main factory was in Crewe, then it was 'moved' to Germany and all Crewe does now is Bently.

There is LOADS of RR "stuff" in Bristol.

T Mob & Orange have big offices.
Telewest have a HUGE office complex.
Sun Life have another HUGE complex.
A lot of BBC shows are produced here but I am unsure about programming jobs.
Hewlett Packard
