Can anyone name the font I was using for the 'digital' part of my old signature? Since my recent system rebuild I appear to have lost it, although I've installed everything I was using at the time. And yes, I didn't make a note of the name of it. Which was stupid.

Here's the old sig:

I've tried What The Font but drew a blank. Help!

PS. Feel free to mock me.

Thanks for the link, I'm sure that'll be helpful in the future.

I still need to know the name of this font if anyone is feeling particularly charitable!

Sorry about dredging up an old topic, but I figured that it would be better than starting a new one about the exact same thing.

If anyone is feeling particularly charitable, would you mind downloading the PSD file below and opening it up in Photoshop?

If it opens without any errors (i.e. no message saying 'text layers may need to be updated') could you let me know what the name of the first font is - I know the philosophy is Myriad Web Pro but I still don't know what the digital is.

Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help out.

Unfortunately not. It's a font that for some unknown reason no longer resides on my system, which is why PS is throwing up error message about not being able to find it.

Closest I've found is ProFont Windows, but that's not got the jagged, pixellated edges.

Was that before or after PS updated the text layer? Did PS even throw up an update message?

EDIT: Sorry, that sounded really ungrateful!

I get the same answer as you do, but only after PS has updated the text layer and replaced the original pixellated font with a smoother font - namely ProFont Windows. Now maybe it's just the version of the font I'm using but if so - where did I get the original from?!

I've got both versions (the normal and TrueType) installed and the former looks like the one I want. However the normal version seems to getting overridden by the TrueType version, even though I've removed the TT one from my Fonts.

Well, at least we've finally got there - thanks to Flanders and Augmented for their help. Now all I need to do is figure out how to get the right version to show up.
