Some time ago, I remember a game which involved taking two animals and merging them into some weird hybrid and making them fight or something.

Did I imagine this? Im sure it was a real game :| What was it called?

evolver or evolve by any chance mate? i saw a lot of reviews, was years ago, always wanted it. you went through the levels fighting etc and absorbed lifeforce from thigns you wanted to be included in ** characters evolution or something? This is pretty damn old, so im probably wrong.
