Name that Tune

Friend of mine has made me a bet, he has recorded a tune at

http://www.namemytune.com under Listen then category Latin, then Era 1990s

I have heard it before many times on a record , it is very famous, but I just can't put my finger on it and it is doing my head in. I think the singer was a Latino?

Any takers?

Well I've already put it in the music forum, and the link doesn't work. I had to navigate to the homepage and find it from there. I take it both latin songs from the 90's are his?

gah, i recognise the first one, but forget its name, cant even google the lyrics because they were in spanish.

only thing is the first one was released in the late 80's.
