Name this Amiga game?

Okay, I think I figured out this game in my head is just an amalgamation of various games... Smash TV, Xenon, Speedball. XD

The game has very bright colours, I remember playing with my bro but he has no idea. I vaguely remember red and blue colours for the main characters a la Smash TV. The upgrade/trade part is from Xenon.

I remember the game was more chunky like Speedball though as to why I think Smash TV isn't it as the characters are quite thin.
 
Plot twist, the game is definitely on the PC now. Windows 95 time.

It was on a floppy disk, I think it came on two disks.

I remember going to a mates and he had a floppy disk box with all these games but it was definitely not Amiga.

It definitely had an alien element, sprites were really colourful.

Reminds me of Spheres of Chaos - that was a trippy game (asteroids clone - not what you are looking for)

Annoyingly I think I know the game you are talking about but I can't quite put a name to it it has been so long.

Yeah, it wasn't necessarily trippy with neon colours all over place but it had a brighter colour palette than other darker games like Alien Breed and Chaos Engine.

I think it was quite cartoony too.
