It was a first person shooter. Not Third person. Very scifi and beautiful looking. Released about 3 years ago i think. It wasn't a role playing game. It's non of these

No, it's not Deus Ex. Sorry for the vagueness, but this is all i really know. I remember playing the demo and being blown away by the graphics. It was a dark game, and the gun i had fired this blue plasma and had like an orb on the end of the gun with lightning going around it. I'm probably letting my imagination run wild a bit here, but this might jog someones memory a bit and get the idea.

It's a good game that slipped under a lot of radars. You can get the Extended Edition for Steam from Kinguin for £1.62.

Also, by the same developer, there is Shadow Warrior (2013). Get that too!

You'd be wrong. It's loads of fun, beautiful to look at, and rock hard on higher difficulties.

It may not look superb by today's standards, but 3 years ago i thought it looked very good considering the size of the install at around 3GB. Computer graphics don't tend to age very well, but i think HardReset has held up pretty well considering it's almost 3 years old now. Gameplay is pure oldskool mindless shooter, which is good for a quick 10 min blast here and there
