Name this game...

[Clark Nova]

This was a game I played on the original Playstation several years ago. It was a 2D platformer and done in a claymation stop-motion type of style. It was very funny indeed, there was one level that had some background music with somebody singing "Beans, beans, the musical fruit...."

I've been racking my brains for weeks now so I'm turning to you guys, please help!

It sounds like The Neverhood.

Wikipedia says that a sequel was released on Playstation called Skullmonkeys. The original was brilliant... might have to see if I've still got it.
