I suddenly want to play Fighting Masters TBH!
After thinking about such classic beat 'em upz (they all had z' back in the day!) I remember going into an Electronics Boutique with my friend and picking up Ballz. It probably had the single worst response time of any game I've ever played, but I remember being mindblown when the characters 'exploded' and the 'ballz' went flying.
