Need the name of a song that goes along something like 'Stop the beat, drop the beat' or something similar. Not much to go on but help

Ok, it's definately not by Junior Senior. It's quite a 'dance/electronic' song, thats all I have..

It's been in a old rave tune, played out by the Ratpack if it helps i'm gonna start listening thru the hundreds i've got

well the "hold the beat" one is in a very early Prodigy tune "What Evil Lurks"

and another remix that i'm looking for, loving having an old skool night here! Got my head bopping

give me a sec on the "cut the midrange" one

Just found a sample of that a minute ago, it's definately not the original anyway, might be some kind of remix. Didn't think it'd be this hard tracking it down

hmm being 30 I recall such a phrase being used many a rave tune (proper rave, non of this klaxons nonsense)

hold the beat, stop the beat give me a second was used in Acen - the life and crimes of a ruffneck

cut the midrange, drop the bass was used in - The house crew - Keep the fire burning

but these tunes are about 15 years old so it's doubtful it's either of them. come to think of it why did I even post knowing this?

Nothing like a bit of good ol' thread revival.. Anyway, I've narrowed it down to a remix of the song 'Calabria', found a few of them but none with 'Drop the beat, drop the bass', anyone else heard it?
